What size crane do I need?
It depends on the weight, how high and how far the load must go, and where the crane can stand. Give the weight, size and some site details in your request so suppliers can work it out.
Do I need a permit to lift from the road?
If the crane blocks a road or walkway, a local council permit may be needed. Ask the supplier, who can usually advise or arrange it.
Does the crane come with an operator?
Usually, yes. Choose With driver / operator in your request, or Without driver / operator if you have your own licensed operator.
Can a supplier check my site first?
Many will for big or tricky lifts. Ask for a site visit in your request.
