Privacy & contact sharing
Your phone number is never shown publicly. Only matching suppliers you allow, up to your limit, can see it.
What is public on a request
Anyone can see a request's title, service, hire type, town and state on the Job Board. If you leave the title blank, it is made from the vehicle, service and town. Keep personal details out of the title and the description. Registered suppliers can also see the description and date, and matching suppliers see your first name in Find work and in their job alert email. Your full name, phone number, pickup point, destination and itinerary stay hidden.
Who can see your number
- Only suppliers whose services and areas match your request, up to the limit you chose.
- Only while the request is open, until you close it.
- Only because you ticked the box agreeing to share it when you posted.
What can't be taken back
Once a supplier has seen your number, closing the request or blocking them stops them opening it again on CariLori, but can't remove it from their phone. Closed requests stay in your contact history so both sides can still record outcomes or report problems.
Your account details
The name and email on your account aren't shared with suppliers. Only the name and number you enter on each request are shared.
Filling in the form for you
When you select Fill in the form for me, or type a request on the home page, your job description is sent to TypeSafe, a service that reads it and suggests the service, places, date and extras. Phone numbers, emails and WhatsApp links are removed first. TypeSafe doesn't train its model on what it reads, and nothing is posted until you check the form and select Post request.
Suppliers' details
A supplier's phone number is never shown on their public profile. When a supplier opens your contact, CariLori emails you their company name, contact person, phone number and profile link, so you know who is calling. SSM documents that suppliers upload are private: customers never see them, and only the CariLori owner can open them.
The full policy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data CariLori keeps, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and how to ask for a copy, a correction or account closure. The Terms of Use set out the rules for customers and suppliers.
