Terms of Use

Last updated 6 October 2026

CariLori helps customers and transport and service suppliers in Malaysia find each other. We don't provide the services, set prices or take payments: any job is agreed directly between the customer and the supplier. These Terms explain the rules for using CariLori.

1. About these Terms

CariLori (carilori.com) is operated by PADUHAUL LORRY TRANSPORT SERVICES, SSM 202503258543 (003776976-A), a business registered in Malaysia ("CariLori", "we", "us").

By creating an account or using CariLori, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use CariLori.

2. What CariLori is, and isn't

CariLori is an online directory and request service. Customers can browse supplier profiles and post requests, and suppliers whose services and areas match a request can contact the customer by phone or WhatsApp, up to the number the customer chooses.

  • We are not a transport, moving, towing, lifting, storage or labour company, and we don't employ the suppliers listed on CariLori.
  • We are not a party to any agreement between a customer and a supplier. The scope, price, payment, insurance and everything else about a job are agreed directly between them.
  • We don't show prices, take bookings or handle payments.
  • We don't verify suppliers. Being listed, or not having a "New" label, is not an endorsement, guarantee or badge.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter into contracts. If you use CariLori for a business, you confirm you are allowed to act for it.
  • Give true and up-to-date details, and use one account per person.
  • Keep your password secret. Tell us straight away at support@carilori.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • We may refuse or close an account that breaks these Terms.

4. Posting a request (customers)

  • Post only genuine requests for work you actually want done, and describe it accurately.
  • When you post, you choose how many matching suppliers may see your contact details and you agree to share them. Those suppliers may call or WhatsApp you about the request.
  • Once a supplier has seen your phone number, closing the request or blocking them can't remove it from their phone.
  • The title, service, hire type, town and state of a request are public on the Job Board. Don't put personal details in the title or description.
  • Before you agree a job, check the supplier yourself: ask for a written quote and confirm their licences, permits and insurance. Our Help Centre has a checklist.

5. Listing your business (suppliers)

  • You must be legally allowed to provide the services you list, and hold every licence, permit, registration and insurance Malaysian law requires for them (for example for commercial vehicles, drivers, cranes or oversize loads).
  • Keep your profile accurate and don't make misleading claims about your business, experience, fleet or coverage.
  • Upload only logos and photos that you own or are allowed to use. You let us show them, free of charge, on CariLori and in promoting CariLori while you are listed.
  • Use a customer's contact details only to discuss the request they posted. Don't add them to marketing lists, send them unrelated messages, or share or sell them. You are responsible for handling them lawfully, including under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
  • Respect a customer's decision to block you or close a request.
  • New suppliers are listed straight away with a "New" label until we review them.

6. Rules for everyone

Don't use CariLori to:

  • give false or misleading information, or pretend to be someone else;
  • harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against anyone;
  • offer, request or arrange anything illegal, including moving prohibited or stolen goods;
  • send spam, chain messages or unrelated advertising;
  • post someone else's personal details without their permission;
  • copy or collect data from CariLori with bots, scrapers or other automated tools, or get around our robot check, limits or other protections;
  • upload malware, or try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to CariLori.

7. Fees

CariLori is free for customers and suppliers at the moment.

If we add paid options for suppliers in future, such as subscriptions or paying for contacts, we will announce them first. You won't be charged for anything you haven't agreed to.

8. Your content and ours

What you post stays yours, but you give us permission to store it, show it on CariLori and use it to run CariLori, as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

The CariLori name, logo and website design belong to us. Don't copy them or use them in a way that suggests we endorse you.

9. Reports, removal and suspension

Anyone can report a contact that went wrong. We review reports and may remove a request or listing, or suspend or close an account, if we reasonably believe it breaks these Terms or the law or puts other people at risk. Where it's appropriate, we'll tell you why.

If you think we got it wrong, email support@carilori.com and we'll take another look.

10. Closing your account

You can stop using CariLori at any time. To delete your account, use Delete account in your account settings (or Settings in the supplier portal), or email support@carilori.com from the address you signed up with. A supplier can also close only their business there and keep the customer side. Either is hidden straight away and erased 14 days later, unless you keep it with the link we email you. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep afterwards and why.

11. What we can't promise

We work to keep CariLori useful and available, but we provide it "as is". We can't promise that suppliers will reply, that listings and requests are accurate or complete, that any service will be done well, safely or lawfully, or that the website will always work without interruption.

Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or any other law that can't be excluded.

12. Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows:

  • we are not responsible for what happens between customers and suppliers, including damage to or loss of goods, delays, injury, or disputes about quotes, payment or work;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, opportunity or data;
  • our total liability to you for any claim about CariLori is limited to RM100.

These limits don't apply to liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

13. If you break these Terms

If someone makes a claim against us because you broke these Terms or the law, or because of your dealings with another user, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, as far as the law allows.

14. Problems with another user

Please try to sort out problems directly with the other person. You can also report the contact so we can act against accounts that break the rules, but we can't decide disputes between users or make anyone pay.

Consumers may also be able to bring a claim against a supplier at the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as CariLori changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make an important change, we'll tell you on the website or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using CariLori after that, the new Terms apply.

16. Law and language

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia can hear any dispute about them.

If we publish these Terms in another language and the versions differ, the English version applies.
